Our Story

Innovative Teachers of America was founded on a simple but powerful idea: that educators are at their best when they are respected as professionals, empowered to teach with excellence, and free to focus on students—not on fads, politics, or bureaucratic trends.

We began as a grassroots effort by teachers, for teachers—men and women who saw the increasing need for an organization that defends traditional values, supports classroom excellence, and champions the rights of educators across the nation. Inspired by the success of state-level initiatives, particularly in Texas, we launched a national organization with the goal of restoring integrity, professionalism, and balance in public education.

We believe teaching is a calling. It is our mission to support educators who feel the same.

Our Mission

Our mission is to support teachers as independent professionals by providing liability protection, legal resources, professional development opportunities, and a strong network of like-minded colleagues. We advocate for traditional American values, classroom excellence, and educational freedom.

We believe that schools function best when teachers can teach, students can learn, and parents are active partners—not when classrooms become battlegrounds for political agendas or untested social experiments.
